Born in 1968 in Recife, northeastern Brazil, Kleber Mendonça Filho graduated college and worked as a journalist. he made his debut feature, NEIGHBORING SOUNDS, and then AQUARIUS. Born in 1980 in Recife, he is a founding member of the creation group ‘Símio Filmes’. As a director and writer he directed short films and video clips.
