While living away from the world and its wrath, Malek, a topographer, accepts a mission in western Algeria. He begins by restoring the Saharan cabin that had housed a previous team in the late 1990s, decimated during an attack by fundamentalists. At the end of the day, Malek finds a young woman hidden in a corner of the cabin. She is black and does not want to give her name. Malek decides to take her in. She doesn't want to flee to Europe anymore, she is exhausted, she wants to go home, she makes the return journey. The road to the desert, a point of mutual disappearance.
