Hamza Ouni

Hamza Ouni, Tunisian filmmaker, born in El Mohammedia, where he still lives. He studied at the Maghrebian Institute of Cinema and at L’EDAC school. El Gort, his first feature-length documentary, won the Best Filmmaker of the Arab World, the International Critics' Award (FIPRESCI), the Talent Dove at DOK Leipzig and the Bronze Tanit at Carthage film festival in 2014. El Medestansi (The Disqualified) is his second feature film.
